The Orinoquia, also known as the Orientales Plains, is a Colombian natural region. Its extensive plains, bathed by large rivers, are mainly dedicated to extensive livestock farming and, to a lesser extent, agriculture and fishing. its inhabitants have suffered a displacement of land concentration, which is why the Orinoquia has been one of the most protagonic regions of the Colombian conflict.
